Hi there,

I am finally in the market for an upgrade of my old bike (after breaking the frame :/)

I have been looking at the Pyga OneTen 29er.

I have an option to buy a used one for a good discount, but its a L model and I am not sure its the right size.

Are there any Pyga riders that can give me ideas how they feel about their frame (L/XL) given their height - I am 1.89m and i know the Pyga recommendation is that I should ride a XL.

It feels fine on the large one, but it might be just my lack of knowledge/feel.

Thanks!

I'm also 1.89m and rode an XL oneten29 for 4 years. It fitted me well but I've got pretty long arms. It's a long frame, and the L I tried didn't feel too cramped either.

I built my new bike in a L (was also on the border of L/XL sizing) and I'm glad I did. For the type of riding I do it feels a lot more playful.

Im 1.86  all my previous MTBs have been a XL, Spec, Trek, however I tried the PYGA Stage and a Large was right for me, So i would say PYGA are big frames, however at 1,89 you may have moved up to a XL, could you not demo a XL and L first

Yeah, i will try to demo the XL.

It just seemed that in all the forums it was hinted at that it's not that easy to demo one...

I am 1.92 and riding an XL

I believe I would be more comfortable on a L.Its a big frame

Found the same. It's a long frame with quite a seat tube angle, which makes it feel even longer.

What length stems are you guys running on these bikes?
