Shocking internal International Olympic Committee emails obtained by Sputnik reveal that in 2016 a South African triathlete tested positive for a "performance improving" drug, without providing a Therapeutic Use Exemption from his doctor.

I hope this isnt real?

Dont emails only show spell check suggestions when in draft format?

Good spotting, however... If you take any email in your inbox, select the relevant text, Copy. Then Paste it into your Word document, then it would have the same effect. Which in the same breath means you cannot trust every word displayed because you are now in your Word document and no longer showing the exact email.

 

Either way, sloppy editing from the writer. Pretty sure there are better ways that the mainline press typically quotes emails.

He declared that he used it way before the olympics. But then he obviously used it right before again. With no TUE. He knew he would test positive. And he won bronze after being ill the whole week.
