Is Versus still THE sock for cyclists?

People always complain about receiving socks for Christmas. I have gotten Versus socks for the past 2 years now, best gifts ever. People are clearly getting Falke socks for Christmas. Poor them.

You also notice the holiday season runaway dad rate going up.

That's where I get all my activewear shirts from. Bloody cheap, bloody comfortable. 

 

Socks - Falke or Checkers. Cheap as chips, comfortable AF and they last a while. Couldn't GAF what the sockilluminati say. If they're comfortable, they stay.

supported them in the beginning, but after 6 pairs all with holes in the toes I got myself different socks. Dont think they are so reasonably priced anymore

EDIT: Woolworths had some funky socks a while back. But they were "work socks". I've worn those on occasion as well.

Basically the same year-on-year compared to the runaway dad rate round about Father's Day. Read it in Grace's thesis they published yesterday.

I find their socks a bit long.. If they stopped at or just above the ankle they would be perfect....

Their new popcorn ones, yes, too long. 

I personally love my popcorn ones the most out of all my Versus socks.

 

I thought I was the only one with this problem. Versus don't have great lifespan

I haven't worn any out myself, but have noticed my coffee ones have frayed a bit on the cups, but the ones in the active range haven't done that - though these are definitely thicker socks so probably has something to do with it.

I do think that the owners are doing alot to keep it interesting and fun for the cyclist. Well done to them for creating a good market in SA

 

I personally do not like Versus socks. Bit of a thick feel for me. Still one of the best socks for me is the standard Fox socks and the few Castelli socks I have

 

Not all want to dock up alot for socks and Versus is the perfect price to cater for the class that most will pay for socks
