[Event] Cape Town Cycle Tour MTB Challenge

Event Name: Cape Town Cycle Tour MTB Challenge
When: 3 March 2018
Where: Uitspan Farm off the R44 (33° 53.032’S, 18° 52.361’E), Western Cape
Category: MTB

It all begins with some mountain bike racing; Saturday, 3 March sees the Cape Town Cycle Tour Lifecycle Week kick off in a cloud of dust. In sixteen years, the Cape Town Cycle Tour MTB Challenge has become the most desirable one-day event on the South African calendar. And for good reason. With 20km, 40km and 60km routes from Meurant Botha, the legendary Stellenbosch course designer, and the 40-year organisational experience of the Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust, it offers top mountain biking for newbies and world champions alike, as well as the opportunity to earn kudos (and a special medal) for backing up the 60km ride here with the Cycle Tour the following weekend. The three route options, which offer easy, intermediate and technical trail conditions as they get longer, and are a perfect introduction to the rough stuff for all. Entries are limited, so don’t dither.

60km – 1350m ascent – starts at 07h00

40km – 960m ascent – starts at 07h50

20km – 430m ascent – starts at 08h30

I'm excited for the race on Saturday.

I just wish they would come up with a better system of collecting your race numbers.

Impossible for me to get to either Rondebosch or Stellies during working hours or before 6pm, I have to ask my mom

Hi there,

As I wasn't aware of this race until now, I have not registered. Is there anybody who unfortunately can't go and is willing to sell his entry number?

Regards,

Wim

Got mine too: Yeah..

Was really looking forward to do the triple this year, as I was on route last year to get 3 CTCT medals (excluding the one in the post), now will have to stick with two (plus the extra you get for doing both)

Just got my seeding and number... Now I am excited!!!
