Let me try to clarify: I have done this out of respect for him as a person, a dad and a husband (not a faceless motorist), and because this is what I am asking him to do: to treat me respectfully, as a person, a dad and a husband (not a faceless cyclist). He's willing to engage further so I am prepared to give this approach a shot. I think it might be a better way. Let's see...

If it doesn't then let Harry know - he is familiar with the right steps to take... probably overly familiar..

Spread the word,,,

Is the group going to stick to single file?

You may need permission from the City to organise a group ride - just check with them.

At a Discovery event this morning, a statistic popped up that I thought relevant to this thread.

In SA, 30% of the road fatalities that occur, are as a result of of aggressive behaviour, this is second only to Impaired driving at 31%.

We need to chill the hell out.

How much overlap is there between the 2 groups? do impaired and aggressive?

Never even thought it was of statistical significance! Scary!

AA, Anger Management and Smart Device Detox to be compulsory for all drivers.

I’m not sure, I did not get to see the data subset. But from my understanding, it was causation not contribution.

So if the guilty party was drunk and driving aggressively the report would have to decide which one of the two was the root cause...?

One could argue that either one can and usually do cause the other. But then you also get the "I love you man" drunks, so it is not consistent.
