passengers that change the temperature on their side of the car.

yes, i know we can have different temperatures, but the numbers must match!!! Drives me nuts when they don't.

Poor design! The person who came up with that idea.

Funnily enough that doesn't bother me...

But the darn climate never stays in its own zone!!!

My zone always gets affected by the hotter zones.....

Sigh. Firstworldproblems......

Politicians and women.

Although as a side note, the women design principle is sound. It’s the operating system that is flawed, and when the hardware becomes software.

buy a car that lets you synch the two temps. problem solved.

What grinds me on cars with climate control is the people that dont know how to use them, they put the temp on its coldest and then manually adjust the fan speed. Expensive climate control system now rendered pointless.

Maybe it is just me but the rear derailleur hanger on my 2014 Giant Trance is driving me nuts.  It has loosened but is held in place by a tiny countersunk screw with either a Torx or tiny Allen head (2mm is "stripped" (not me m'lud) 2.5mm won't fit grrr)).  It's location is such that you cannot get a punch, cold chisel or Dremel to it without grinding some other part as well. It also seems to be stainless steel because it is resisting the 1,5mm drill I have tried.

Couldn't they just have put a decent sized, accessible fixing there?

I saw a video on YouTube of a guy removing stripped screws with a rubber band placed between the screw and the screwdriver/tool for grip. Maybe that will work.

This darn button on all VW radios!!!! Because every time you turn the volume up or down the button doesn't look up any longer.

DRIVES ME NUTS!!!

As much as I love my Golf 6, I agree. That volume button or the steering wheel controls are useless and not ergonomic at all. Renault is much better at that with the satellite control on the side of the steering wheel. You can do everything sound related with one hand without taking your eyes off the road.

Try using a reverse drill (left handed bit) - worst case it screws it out.... any decent tool shop should have them - start with the Toolshop.co.za in Strydom park
