While it caused some issues (mostly with marshalls and us organisers), it was better than going into the rocks at full tilt and the possible breakages of bodies and wheels that were the alternative!

I'm not quite sure how I avoided the tape in the end.  Those were some incredible trails - in hindsight I wish I had done a test ride or 2 before yesterday so I could have gotten a decent time rather than riding everything blind but still a great day out! Apparently there were quite a few surprises there. The biggest surprise to some was that there was no tape for a couple of minutes while the marshals scrambled to find a new piece to put back up, since a someone decided the tape makes a nicer decoration on his bike!Â

ratherberidin' Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Great event indeed. Saw a few photographers, anyone know if/where they post their shots? Happy to pay for rad photos of myself (not) railing a corner like a pro.Â
