Yeah I do so I know her accomplishments in road racing, and the bit of cyclocross and MTB she dabbles in. That however seldom translates into a great MTB racer. Jolanda Neff and Pauline Ferrand Prevot being two stand out ladies in this area. If Anna keeps this performance up then i'll be slotting her into the same category as Jolanda and Pauline.I'm not the shes-a-name-so-she-can-ride-anything kind of fan.

Also today's course may have been sandy but it was not very technical so we'll see how she gets on further into the race. I think there was all of 70km of gravel road in the course today. This excludes dual track farm road.

Travel together for more than 10 days

Stay together in a small flat on the 3rd floor in Hamburg

Do a multi stage race under the hot African sim

There won't be anything in the epic nearly as technical as in XCO..

I am not even nearly surprised as to how well she is riding never doubted her for a moment... the only thing that may effect her is if her efforts effect Annika and if the weather becomes very hot

Just a question! How many Epics have you done? On all 3 I have done I have heard every story on how the trail was except for how the trail actually was. Just curious that's all.

Isn't how well I know the trails they rode today more relevant  than how many Epic's I've done...??

But ya no well whatever, I reckon If someone has done the Epic they will tell you how many times neh :)

Candice said in the interview she went through a dark place between 70-90km

Should have trained harder then.

You must know her very well then?

Just a question

I don't judge, just gauge on where the experience lies and the attitude to the challenge. The Latter leaves me no doubt that she would adapt. The former left a question mark over ho long it would take.

So lets not be all judggerrag now neh :)

A professional like her would've prepared very very well. ..and she did they rode a race together and she did a lot of other mtbing preparing for this.

Imagine the uproar if it was Gaze having a go at Nino after finishing behind him. Dear lord, the Hub police would be interpreting his mental issues at the speed of light by now.

O, we all know Sam has issues. He is a Kiwi after all.  :whistling:

Ferrari had a brilliant pre season testing session. Form was great.

Flopped to 4th yesterday. Everything was in place for domination....

#justsaying

Don't be judggerag because you have better hindsight

Lol

Avancini's outburst came as a surprise, the Cannondale guys always seem so lekker.. but things get hectic out there and pressure is on.. you suffer and then this other guy has the audacity to still tell you work with them or they will drop you...and then they do drop you because you weren't working with them eventhough it would've been to your own advantage to work with them[emoji6]

All part of racing hey.

Should have applied some thought before you posted, hey

The dark place will come when in full gas mode

It’s just a matter of when

And what one does with it

possibly, yes but there could be other factors like someone tjuned her k7K because she would'nt do her turn on the front. People are emotional beings and performance follows
