In a press released issued Friday morning, the UCI said “A letter of invitation and a document designed to help prospective candidates with their bids have been sent to all 50 National Federations of the African Cycling Confederation.”

Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk I'd love Rwanda to get it but it costs a fortune to bid / win and event. Bergan in 2017 and Richmond in 2015 ended up making a massive loss. Doha in 2016 isn't care as they had money to burn, I can't see the UCI playing the nice guy and subsidizing the even just to have it on the continent. Doha was outrageously dull. SA probabally is best suited if it can find the money with world UCI events having been run here for XC XCO and DH and a proven record in massive cycling events. Issue might be the popularity of the event as a whole nation could hobble a government backed bid.

For everyone else that didn't catch it without comic sans, its Friday, get a beer, drink it out, shake it off, take an awesome ride. But yes, Angola, like many countries on the African continent, have some beautiful sightworthy places
