I think Unai has a great vision for the team, but he will need to learn to adapt his vision with what he has to work with. I'm glad he took the pivotal step of subing Ozil as this will hopefully wake the players up. Too many make the starting team based on profile.

With our American owner at the helm, i don't foresee Unai being axed this season unless we end up in a relegation battle. Our yank is in it for the money, not football trophies.

Lol

Sorry.. this funny

My team bought nobody to set something of a weird benchmark, we did at least hold on to our key players, well so far at least...

Money obviously tight with the new stadium build, but it will be awesome when we finally get to move in. I can live with not signing players for this window, we've got a tight wage budget and a first 11 on par with the best teams in the world, so the bottom line is that it's very hard to find players who would honestly make it into our team on the wages we pay. Some more competition would have been nice, but with Winks, Wanyama, Lamela coming back into things and Moura starting to look settled, there aren't too many areas we're short.

The new stadium, once it's paid off will allow us to compete a lot more, just hope Kane/Poch and Co are still around to be apart of those days.

City and Liverpool looking brilliant, should be a closer contest for the league title this year... maybe my guys can put in a good shift too. Arsenal and Utd looking a little off the pace, but it's a long way to go

Utd lost 6 games to lowly opposition last season, giving away 18 points. They finished 19 points behind their noisy neighbours.

No team has successfully defending their EPL crown since Utd in 2008/9.

That said, City seem to have continued their scoring form from last season. Any team wanting to finish above them will have to avoid dropping unnecessary points along the way. But yes, it’s only week 2/38, so anything can happen.

United needs to get rid of Mourinho.  His man management is the reason why United are struggling the way they are.

And Phil Jones. He has all the elegance of a newborn giraffe wearing high heels doing ice-skating.

IMO he has lost the dressing room...no ability to inspire jack squat..

Meanwhile in Italy, Inter drew..Roma drew, an inspired Napoli came back from 2 goals down to beat Milan.

And

JUVE secured a solid win without getting out of 2nd gear.[emoji4]

No! They need to keep him for a long long time, possibly forever if possible.

It's such fun to watch.

I spent 5 minutes reading what the highest earner at each club earns

http://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/football/which-player-earns-the-most-at-each-premier-league-club/ss-BBMQSjp?ocid=ientp

Damn, for ppl that kick a ball around they sure do earn a hellova lot. The average ANNUAL salary in the uk is around 27 000 pounds to put it in perspective.

Yep.

You'd think they would be better considering their earnings [emoji23][emoji23]

And that is just club earnings that isn't even image right earnings and endorsement deals.

Serie A Top earners.. that pay gap[emoji102]92338592e540b9220764a3d8ab5ac796.jpg
