so today's just a long recovery ride

I was thinking the same thing.

How Tim Wellens is still able to ride at the front of the group today astounds me. He looked DED.

It has actually been good for my productivity at work today. Yesterday not so much!

Some surprises for me from the current top 10:

-Lots of duo's up there, almost feels like an F1 grid. Modern bike racing means you need to always have two options for GC?

1st Ciccone - Trek

2nd Appaphillipe DQS

3rd Theuns - Bahrain

4th Bennet - JV

5th Thomas - Ineos

6th Bernal - Ineos

7th Pinot - FDJ

8th Kruiswijk - JV

9th Woods - EF

10th Uran - EF

-Bardet leaking more than a minute on Gee does not bode well for him.

-Pinot being the only guy to really match Gee is impressive

-4th on the stage(Gee) to 17th(Bennet) separated by only 22 seconds, on such a steep finish, means allot of okes are still in the GC battle. Some just look a little bit more sharp than others. But will it last...?

Some of those are up there from the week and the TTT. Once things get really real in the big mountains guys will drop out mostly of GC and other guys in top 20 will move into top 10

3rd win for Jumbo-Visma

Perfect timing by Groenewegen

That was splendid camerawork

So stoked for Dylan! Glad he got the win but it was super super tight sprinting. Unbelievable stuff from the top dogs!

Was good to see G being protected up near the front & staying out of trouble until they passed the 3km to go mark.  :-)

After crashing on stage seven of #TDF2019, Tejay van Garderen has been forced to withdraw from the race due to a fractured hand. We’re sad to see such Tejay leave @LeTour and wish him a speedy recovery.

Thanks for the link

Nice story and learnt a few things watching that, Part 2 is also great

Sure, I like Bob, a really passionate grass roots cyclist and an entertaining and informed commentator. Pity his YouTube channel has gone quite, that was enjoyable.
