Let's share our tips for riding, whether it be for road, mountain bike, downhill, commuting etc. so that new Hubbers or people who are new to cycling on this forum can improve their skills or fitness.

These are the three rules I teach my kids about riding bikes, but I find they are pretty relevant to us all:

 

1) Watch where you are going

2) Keep peddling

3) Have fun

If you see a taxi coming and the robot is green for you, STOP !!

Taxis are worse than cyclists for running red lights, saw it again this morning.

If mountain biking don't over inflate your tyres

Always have a tube and a pump with you 

Hard lose gravel is not forgiving be careful

Water puddles can be deep so keep peddling
