Remove pedals, lightly grease the threads and screw it back on, remove cleat bolts, clean, lightly grease the thread and put them back. Lastly, lightly lube any moving parts on the pedal, wipe of and clean excess lube, then enjoy the ride.

done it all, rebuilt the pedals, even swapped them out, grease cleat, in fact pumped the cleat with Squirt, but 20Km in or around there it starts again, if i submerge the shoe in mud or water it shuts up, so it must be the shoe im guessing

Are you sure it's not your shoe/sock combination? This happened to me, my left leg was considerably different, pressure wise, to my right (pre hip replacement) and the difference in foot movement made a noise which was the sock moving oddly within in the shoe.

It took me a while and having many similar socks did not help.

It's a long shot and quite specific, but you never know.

Good luck, I understand your consternation.

Ride flats. I had to take a knife to the soles if my cleats to get the rubbing plastic away. Moer irritating. If I wanted to be annoyed for 3hours I'd go christmas shopping in any centre right now.

Try swapping the pedal out with another one.  That way you'll narrow it down to either pedal or cleat.  If the problem persists replace the cleat.

If that doesn't work you have a great reason to buy another bike..  completely reasonable solution, as any cyclist will agree
