Off the cycling.

There's a food market every Thursday evening at the Cape Point Vineyards.

Village Roastery make GREAT coffee and a good spot to start a ride/hook up with other riders

Cafe Roux often have live music. Check them out.

Red Herring is an amazing spot for an evening beer and pizza. Keep an eye out. We spotted a porcupine and an owl last thursday after dinner there.

If you want a morning ride before work you can head up chappies at around 6:15, you should meet us going up towards chappies, then head over suikebossie and have a coffee at Strolla. Then head back, should be around 68km.

The other option is to go right round to the burbs and over constnia nek and chappies or Ou Kaapse weg.

The Hub is right, we are *** slow.

Thanks so much guys! So many options clearly and a good place to start from .... However you talk as if I know these places [emoji848]

The last time I was anywhere near was 18 years ago and didn't bother with a bike!

Anyone that could draw me a picture, I am a bit slow, of these routes. Even hand drawn will do [emoji41]

Spoiler alert. They aren't slow.

I don't have to go all the way I'm thinking, just go into the red for a little while and I can just say 'I rode with the Savages'. My street cred will surely be elevated of hoe se ek?

Oh. Duh. How could I forget. There's a market in the HB harbor on a Friday night. Live music and great food and drinks. Just don't drink drive. The Metro boys love to have road blocks as you leave the harbor.

My wife making notes feverishly here, says 'these mates of yours seem ok despite the fact they're cyclists'
