Did you guys know its happening this week?

No discussion, no speculation, nada?

Impey to take the TT and the road race....

I am planning my Sunday around this event, watch the start and then camp out at the Union Buildings. Looking forward to it.

Keep an eye on Stefan in the ITT.

Reiny could pull one over Darryl on the road race too, it’s a tough circuit.

Could call, on both fronts

DD has a strong team here, Ryan Gibbons in good form.

I expect we might see a breakaway by Jauques JVR or Jaco Venter to put pressure on Impey, no Willie Smit this year to chase the break.  Daryl very strong but as we all know the strongest or fastest does not always win in this sport.

Will also be there spectating the Elites while a lot of my clubmates will do the Vets races.

Its almost like they keep it a secret every year.

Are you riding?

Make it a double win for the #fullfactory racing team?

Yeah, I think DD will give Daryl a good working over through the laps and eventually one of their guys will stay off the front. I also punted Reinardt as the dark horse - it's a lekker strong mans course

The lack of publicity just defies logic.  Gauteng champs was the same.  The only way I could find the info was asking on The Hub - and I was my groups defending champion.  (Alas not any more).

I must say that since introducing electronic timing these events have improved.  Racing is always hard but the numbers - especially in the older groups - is disappointing.
