Pure Savage Posted April 17, 2019 Share 100% or not, Gibbons should be there #1 protected sprinter. He's that good. This is di-data we are talking about...
shaper Posted April 17, 2019 Share Watched last night, TDD sort of had it together right up until about the last km, then other teams took over. Cav was sitting in, but was well back (10th or so) when the sprint opened up. Looked like he got blocked and then sat up as the front guys were well gone. At least TDD made a showing in the race, but need to work better on the lead out in the last km. Even the eurosport commentator was hoping for a good Cav showing lol
Vetplant Posted April 17, 2019 Share Agree, Today is much better suited to Ryan so lets see what happens. Hopefully Ben can also be there for a good GC result for the week.Tour of Turkey Twitter account also lists Gibbons a potential winner of the day alongside Caleb Ewan. Road kicks up nicely towards the end of the stage.
Vetplant Posted April 17, 2019 Share Cavendish was on the front of the peloton doing a big pull until 3km to go, I am actually impressed in that he actually worked for someone else.
