ASO needs to be taken to task, possibly by the cyclists themselves with some sort of protest.

A lekker public protest on the biggest stage, TDF. Imagine a whole day of riding on a random flat stage and the whole Peloton pulls up and stops 50m from the finish line and just stand there, chatting, holding up some placards..... The coverage would be insane!

That was a hell of a lot of fun to watch ...break was caught but then more fireworks..aggressive riding an very entertaining.. Cortina gets his first pro win

Taking no chances on DSTV stuffing up again and watching live I see Gen

You heard about Flèche and LBL taken off the Women’s WorldTour as ASO refused to broadcast it?

⚠️

Saw Orla Chennaoui's tweets on it, its just bizarre and anachronistic isn't it, its like the world has passed ASO by.

Heard on The Cycling Podcast that the ToC is not taking place next year, leaving riders like Sagan having a possible appearance at the Giro.

https://thecyclingpodcast.com/podcast/ellingworth-takes-the-wheel-at-mclaren

In this episode of The Cycling Podcast, Richard Moore, Lionel Birnie and Daniel Friebe review some of the biggest stories from the past week in professional cycling.

After 14 years, the Tour of California – the biggest stage race in the USA – is taking a hiatus. What does this mean for racing in America – and does Peter Stetina’s decision to quit the World Tour in favour of gravel events such as Dirty Kanza suggest the sport is heading in a different direction?

Richard reports back on his trip to McLaren HQ in Woking, where he met Bahrain-Merida’s new boss Rod Ellingworth and asks him about signing Mark Cavendish and reluctantly seeing world time trial champion Rohan Dennis leave.

We also discuss Filippo Ganna’s world record-breaking four-kilometre individual pursuit ride in Minsk.

And as the medical hearing into the conduct of Dr Richard Freeman – former doctor for both Team Sky and British Cycling resumes – we discuss the implications of Dr Freeman’s admission that he’d lied about the delivery of testosterone to British Cycling HQ.

Where have you been.

Sags confirmed his participation at the 2020 Giro at the route launch 1 week before the ToC news came. He probably had a headsup about ToC.

It is sad to see it off the calendar next year I enjoyed that race..
