My understanding is Pyga is bring all their manufacturing back to SA. 

Tough to compete for safe in the factory against the big boys (Specialized, Trek, Giant) etc.

A SA brand I forgot about. Volcan.

 

At one point they were claiming to be Swiss and still have a cross as part of their logo.
