I just got my first pair of road cycling shoes, strapped them on and they fit very nice. Underneat the shoes, it is reinforced with carbon.

As soon as i walked onto the tiles, I almost slipped and fell. It has very small rubber strips at the back and front of the shoe.

How do you guys walk with these shoes?

You can see this is a newbie asking for help :D

Maybe i need to fit the cleats on this thing and then walk with it

You'll never need to walk in them without cleats. Put them on and they stay forever.

Cleats have rubber contact points underneath which make walking easy, albeit awkward.

The cleats did not come in the post yet. Ordered a set and was hoping they get delivered with the shoes.

Got a bit excited seeing the new shoes. Had to try them on and walk. :D

The cheaper cleats are not non slip. The more expensive ones have anti slip rubber strip on them.

However. Always walk carefully when wearing cycling shoes.

Once the cleat is on, it will be much easier to walk on.
