40k budget for DS

Got a 2109 Spez Stumpjumper for 40k in March April from Revolution. Full Carbon. Brilliant bike. Perfect for Cape Town trails. Maybe give them a call - they might still have stock. Stumpy.jpg

Picked up the same one from Complete Cyclist in June. Specialized only had small sizes left which suited us fine.

 

Only upgrade needed was the NX derailleur that died. Upgraded to GX.

 

It’s a damn good deal at R40k. Seriously well engineered bike.

Nope. Old stock. Spaz do this every year for their "old" models that haven't been shifted. There are some mahooooosive specials that go down.

My derailleur also got mangle due to a stick that got caught in it. managed to bend it back sort of straightish. Good enough to ride with.

CWC s-e-e-m-s to have a good value 29'er on special standing INSIDE the Stores entrance, R40 k for carbon frame, looked like a fair bit of bike for the price!
