Jewbacca Posted October 3, 2020 Share Yes will be full one,s something like this: I was just hoping somebody ahs some experience for a recommendation.I used some SKS direct mount ones and then some Topeak DM ones after the SKS cracked in a fall. I really do recommend Brick Lane bikes though. They have some pimping selections of these sorts of things and sometimes seeing them is better than just picking them off a screen. Problem is, I will likely leave with more than just mudguards. They have tons of cool stuff. Jewbacca

Monark Posted October 3, 2020 Share I had SKS flaps and they were great. Tyre clearance takes a knock so just test fit them. Patchelicious

Pikey Posted October 4, 2020 Share It’s very much the decent thing to do and most clubs recommend it. Also on the commute in it’s about those around you more than yourself. I would happily just pop on an Ass-saver.But yes, you are right Bruno does deserve better, maybe the answer is a dedicated winter commuter bike hmmmmm Cracking idea winter commuter????????Those ass-savers are a great idea for self preservation. Must say riding in the rain and cold was grit your teeth stuff...oh and the wind blowing of the Pennines ???? Patchelicious
Charlie600 Posted October 4, 2020 Share I use these Bontrager mudguards during the winter months on my trek checkpoint - works like a charm! https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/equipment/bike-accessories/bike-racks-fenders-locks/bike-fenders-accessories/bike-fenders/bontrager-ncs-fender-set/p/21832/ Patchelicious

Maybe if you wrote it in Afrikaans I would have read betterer. Naah, Afrikaans would not have stopped me from reading only the juicy bits.
