I constantly need to fiddle with my brand new battery charger as well. Both the batteries and charger are very pricey imho. Sure once fully charged, the batteries last long but not sure why its so pricey compared to other batteries & chargers .... 🤷♂️ Edited October 9, 2023 by TheoG
Francois Pienaar Posted March 10, 2024 Posted March 10, 2024 This exact thing happened to me. At first I thought it was a faulty battery cause I’d charge it full then ride for a short while (rear derailleur battery low) which was puzzling. Yesterday in a race my main battery died, swopped to my spare, dead. Then later tried to other batteries nothing worked. SS for 35km = legs on fire LOL. That led me to the LBC and there they told me about the pin issue. Eish, now to find POP and get a new one. Think of me peeps. DieselnDust 1

I recently bought some SRAM components off Merlin Cycles in the UK, literally less then half the price of our local shark.

guidodg Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 https://www.digikey.co.za/en/products/filter/contacts/contacts-spring-loaded-pogo-pins-and-pressure/311 any idea which is the correct pin?

guidodg Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 how about these? https://za.rs-online.com/web/p/pcb-sockets/2479187?gb=s

Was it from the site you mentioned above and was the size correct ? On pic it looks a bit too long, but if so perhaps a larger hole, back insert and spacer on the soldering size ? Anyway I have the same pin problem and will glady pay you for 2 pins ? Edited August 31, 2024 by Max Headroom
Unicornbiker Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Hi all, I'm really happy I found this topic! Please someone reply about the correct height of the pins. My bike runs xx1 axs and one of them collapsed. For now, I put a small piece of foil, but I need to fix it permanently. I'm a disaster with soldering, so I found a guy who is a professional on fixing + soldering a variety of electronic parts especially TVs. I already ordered some pogo pins 5.5mm and 6mm, but I really don't know which size is the correct. Thank you!
guidodg Posted April 5 Posted April 5 (edited) it’s the pins a few postings back on this thread… I used the 5.5 Edited April 5 by guidodg

Nicomrs Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Also had the same issue on my first gx axs. Never store your bike without a battery or battery cover! Especially after washing your bike. During storage without it some moist goes into the pins and they corrode the tiny springs inside.
