I have switched from the tan wall to the normal black sides.

 

Still like the look and feel of the Panaracer Gravel King tyres.

 

 

Granted, the rims on my HT is not deep.  Was an easy seat, with two layers of tape.

I always thought it was "square knob". Turns out the Panaracer website says it's "semi knob".

I've gone through maybe 6 of these tyres and they have all been difficult to install. 

The best trick I've found is using one of the smaller Parktool tyre levers (1.2 model) to pull the bead into the right position all the way along the edge. This felt like a magic hack. 

A second way is to install with a tube and let it sit then remove later and add sealant.

I made an order from Merlin in the uk for some bits and they were on special so got a pink set to match the grips, saddle and stuff. Decided to run my bike in SS and flat bar mode for around the neighbourhood, Went all miami camo on it. Made it s bit less business looking and a bit more fun. Bike is a nice poppy blue btw. This with the tan pirelli’s….mintsauce. I like the way it turned out. Ps: no im not sharing a pic of it. I dont share my bikes on here any more…too many skelms around.

Most difficult ever to install for me.

Two trips to the filling station for their compressor unsuccessful. 

Waisted one bomb.

Used some "box sello tape" and sealed rim and tire in some way. 

Bingo. It inflated without sealant with a hand pump

Interesting, I can find at least 5 websites where they claim it is Small Knob. I guess Panaracer got tired of immature people like me and changed it.

All this detail and then no post of the actual bike?!? Marra why though?
