That is always such a risk on the courses here in SA. The gap jump on Lombards Terra being a big accident scene over an XCO weekend if the wind is even mildly up

thanks for clearing that up. We just assumed one of your many jobs was her skills coach too!

No, there are certain things where it’s better for the husband not to be involved in 🫣😂

We outsource the technical skills and the coaching / training, it’s healthier for our marriage that way 😊

Indeed , in this case it is better to be the one who consoles and listens to numerous  replays of the crash and just nods with “yes dear “ , “oh my dear” etc snd end with “ have you considered this dear <insert subtle suggestion on what might have gone wrong without sounding like a know it all or mansplaining>

Not sure what the general consensus is about the year, how everyone feels about the racing, the tv production, the value of what people are paying for, those who are paying (no judgement if you are watching it in Russian 🤣)

So next round of the XCO is this weekend - and MVDP is going to be there. Should add some spice to proceedings. I think he'll have a hard time with Koretzky and Blevins and maybe a few others...

DH this weekend was pretty epic. Coverage was a bit better than last year and the new streaming platform is a big improvement over last years buffering rubbish. The new format with Q1 and Q2 for those that didn't make it in, and no protected riders is great.

an new kit in the DH scene?  More high pivot bikes? Trend back toward aerosuits?

 

PS: Don't forget Alan will be racing NMNM too. He's just back off a big training block whicl MVDP is back after a bit of rest. I'd reckon these two are going to break the SFR domination of the podium this weekend

Koretzky is out with several broken bones due to a crash in practice. Ana Santos also  but from a crash last week in Germany
