Choose what you want, well organized or prize giving but unfortunately you can't have both 😝

Ouch ....

Their waterpoints were excellent.  And the vibe was nice.

Sweeper vehicle served as a mobile workshop and got a few going again.  And what looked like a decent trailer to protect the bikes.

No idea of the podium prizes, or lack thereof .... but the lucky draw prizes were super nice.

Question - previous years they had two prize giving sessions.  First for the faster riders, then one much later for the back markers.  Did they have the second one this year ?

Any idea if they had photigraphers out on the route ?

I didn't see any photographers. I assume if there was, they would have been at the top of Bothmaskloofpas or at the finish line.

An unofficial photographer (Aldo van Tonder) was at the climb and the organisers commented on one of his IG posts that official photo's will be released during the course of the week.

Ah, okay. I must have been too tired to notice him! 😅
