So much to do so little time. KoTAS fired the first shots. Some unknown YT'er called Pure Savage only the third best Professional amateur funriders in the city. Mother withered in the onslaught leaving La Pearla's  vets to take up the challenge. Rumour has it they will be riding new frames made by Zimmer. Lets see.

Who will take it this year. Will the mixed victory go to a team with 3 identifiers or real women......and what of the ladies teams.....?

So many questions, so little answers, likely none before 22nd November

Alright, some pre-reading/listening for those new to KotAS 

As mentioned elsewhere, Dave is doing a great job hyping up the "local rivalries" which make DC all the more fun.

I'll get my club chairman (Graham Ward) to get in touch with Dave. City wanted to do an Origin story being the oldest cycling club if not sports club in Cape Town.

Historically the WT riders have been in LPC (Jasper Stuyven) and UCT-Private Client Holdings (Finn Fisher-Black and Lucas & Alice Towers). Haven't seen confirmation from either team for 2025 (noting that Jasper is changing WT teams, so not sure his new team will allow him to ride?)

Early predictions... LPC, ECC then Pure Savage... However I think Mother will feature... all part of the mind games. Overall RDx and Mad Macs are showing good form going into DC with local events results of late.

With a little over 2 weeks to go it’s still anyone’s game. A bit of brooklax chocolate in a mocha, out of stock Pzero’s or a badly fitting Corsa could all swing the pendulum 

FFS even the seeding is going to give someone an upshot before the start line is drawn in powder. 
what about RH77? One hit wonders ? Do they have the layup to repeat . More importantly, are pastels in or out this year???

Hopefully One Tonner coverage next week will show that even though there were only two teams present on the podium, the Western Cape still has 3 local high performing teams!

In the mean time the CoCT clubs are tjoepstil. Is the smack-talk only at the top of the timing sheet? What about those vying for sub 6, sub 7 and charles milner?

or is it just camaraderie and #gees ?

Some of the teams really shouldn't be stopping for that coffee and bagels. Okes you did the training in winter now okes are so big the team looks like 16men - I feel a protest looming. We all know you got the nutrition right, maybe not balanced but well done. At least I know I'm safe till Op de tradouw's....maybe I'll have to hide out in JHB till it blows over
