vgb Posted March 1 Posted March 1 any advice on how to remove a very stuck shimano spd pedal from a XX crank. It is properly stuck! Bike shop tried the normal pedal tools. Even removed the pedal and put the spindle in a view. No luck. What next?

Gerlach Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Mix ATF with Acetone. Then drop some of the oil on both side and leave for some time, and then check. If you can, just lighty heat with a heat gun to so that mix can flow in nicely.
michaelbiker Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Can it not be drilled out? You’d lose the pedal but save the crank arm. Pretty sure this is relatively straightforward with a drill press and a tame machinist.
