I'm always torn between supporting this event or giving it the middle finger. On any given day of the week you cannot even cycle past Kayamnandi for fear of being hijacked of your bike and belongings yet you as a cyclists get asked to support an event that promotes the upliftment of the sport in the area.

Yeah no, it just doesn't work for me, it's just a little too ironic. Until something gets done about cyclists safety in the area, I'll steer clear of this initiative... again.
