Zaskar Posted August 8, 2008 Share Yay, finally finished building up my road bike to my ultimate spec. Its taken a while, but im really happy with it and i can honestly say it rides like a dream . Check out https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=20621 for pics when i got her. She has lost a bit of weight since then, and is now just on the legal limit (incl pedals cages etc). Not bad for a big 58cm frame! What you guys think? Anything else I could change? (PS. thanks Crux for helping me out with getting some of the bits! )

AndreZA Posted August 8, 2008 Share Very nice. Like how the silver saddle fits in with the silver frame. Maybe ad some solver or red , for nice contrast and to match the red writing on the wheels and finishing kit, Nokon or Aligator cables. Red KCNC/Token pulley wheels and seatclamp will also look nice. Otherwise I would say she is perfect.

Zaskar Posted August 8, 2008 Share Considering i bought the frame, brakes, saddle and wheels from hubbers, the only thing that i paid RRP for were the stem and bars. The groupset i got at good prices from friends, and the seatpost was imported from CRC. I worked it out lastnight, and it cost me 46% of the replacment value! Jules Posted August 8, 2008 Share Not bad at all. The only thing I'd consider changing is the frame and fork Perhaps you can get a nice Scott one day
