Keep on bitchin' about it. Not all of our efforts will be as successful as this one. I'm absolutely surprised at the reacton I got from what I thought would be a simple post with the usual one or two people flaming me for being righteous. But don't stop bitchin', since littering is an indication of other anti-social attitudes. A litterer will probably dump engine oil down a drain, deposit building rubble in the veld (or not check that the people he hires to dump, do so legally) and do a bunch of other anti-social stuff. It is a good indicator of such tendencies. I do feel this has nothing to do with the owner of the Whasp company (Pornstar?), and the actions of one misguided "ambassador" and his buddy should not damage the company's reputation. Keep on sucking Whasp if that is what you prefer. Dont toss your wrappers though. Pornstar, no need to teach me diplomacy. When a guy is bigger than me, wears a helmet, is on a sugar high, in front of his girlfriend and probably packing a pedal spanner, I am polite. It was Gregg's (??) blustering and dismissive response that made me name and shame him. Had he just picked it up without saying anything or, just uttered "sorry", it would never have come this far. However, he was acted aggressively to hide his embarassment. But like I said, this has nothing to do with you. I suspect you have learnt something about brand ambassadors though. I have too. Peter, I have nothing against the wheels you sold that guy. Lets go over to Tech Q&A and fight about chain lubrication. I see there's a "What lube to use" thread going down. VOOMA was off the market for about 3 months last year sorting out problems, we did have a suspect batch which we have attended too... we have completely upgraded our machines and we havent had many problems since that... I'm not saying who's right and who's wrong. I did not see it happen so I cannot judge. If it's true he is a prick. If it is not then it's a case of mistaken guilt. But you cannot seriously think that somebody should apologize for something when he does not think he did wrong? And yes I have been know for getting out of the car to pick up litter and hand it back to the offender so I'm not trying to defend anybody but this is turning into a joke. okay captain excitable, before you get your knickers in a knot, what i was saying is there are two things mentioned predominantly in this thread:1. littering2. brand ambassador Im referring to someone being a brand ambassador, you need a little bit of public relations skill if you are to represent something and if you had any of that then you would realise its in your and your brands best interest to diffuse the situation and apologise.I have not taken sides on this either nor will I, I dont like people who litter and thats my opinion.
