Krismis in July

After I sold my bike I decided to get a HT untill I get another bargain on something else, whatever/whenever that might be.

I bought a Fox RLC from Gobi and the hunt was on. I first went looking for wheels on CRC and build a set of XT hubs, DT db spokes and nipples, yes I said it, and Mavic 717 rims. Then got some Joe's sealant tubes and Conti Mountain Kings Protections. Then I had to get a frame. They, CRC, had a BeOne on special for GBP105. I picked a replacement derailleur hanger to go with the frame seeing that it is not available in this country. All this pushed my order into the "free shipping" category.

So on Monday the 6th, last week Monday, I placed the order. Late Wednesday afternoon, the 8th, I got the email that order has been shipped. So now I'm willing to wait 10 working day. Two days ago saw on CWC they have a special on Thomson posts in my required size. Placed a order and got a confirmation the order will be at my PO on the 15th. So the 15 came and I got the CWC slip in my postbox. I go to the counter and hand in my slip, they come back and tell me that I have a huge international order waiting for me aswell. I told them that there was no slip in my box telling me to pick it up. She says it's been there for 2 days already. That means it took 5 days, including a weekend, to get from the UK to my PO. The lady brings out the paperwork and behold, a nice big Vitus box. I dragged all 10.5kg of it to my car. Placed it in my boot and tied down the lid with my jumper leads (I did not expect it to be there okay).

So here it is.

Box from CRC, bag from CWC. Cannondale in the back was not part of the order.

They build the wheel the way I like it without asking them. The valve hole lines up with the lable on the hub.

Speaking of Krismis Boks.

Where's the Vitus that came with the box in the back?

I'd like to see some pics of that.

Cool frame, post some built pics to bragg with.
