Hi Guys,

I am trying to build a wheel set for a  mid 80's Lejeune 753 I rescued a while back. I have the original back wheel and managed through a fellow Hubber to get a NOS matching red anodized DRC rim :)

All I need now is a Suntour Superbe 28 hole front hub the same model as the pictures below.

Not easy to find I am sure but I thought I'd put it out there and hope one of the retro guys might have one to sell.

Thanks, Barry

I posted this in a separate thread but thought I'd place it here as well just in case someone has a spare set lying around. Importing a pair is just too costly at this stage.

Looking for a pair of Shimano SLR 105 BL1051 Brake Hoods in any colour.

They don’t need to be new, secondhand will do as long as they’re in one piece. My vintage Lejeune is basically complete, just this puzzle piece is missing.

Thanks

Search back on this thread about 3 years!!!

I bought a few pairs from a shop in the UK, can't remember the name, that's why I recommend a search. Cost me £8 a pair and I think post was free.

I spent some time at the polishing wheel yesterday with this old 105 Crankset. The drive side looked a lot worse than the 2nd lever before I started. Worked it through with 360, 600, 1000  and 1500 wet/dry paper and then Autosol on a polish wheel. Really happy with the result. You can get an idea on the marks on it in the first photo.
