Guest Michelle Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 bored girl: We came around the one turn, and I saw her in the bunch up close to the front (she was with the DL bunch after puncturing), next thing HUGE crash... people wiped out all over the place. Her wheel was messed, tyre blew... Both hands were injured & right shoulder was VERY sore. We loaded her up & took her to the finish... not sure how much medical support they had out on the road, but they must have been very busy, and I imagine there were plenty of people sitting at the side of the road for a very long time.

Saw the crash (not when it happened but when everyone started to get up) from a distance before we turned left, with one (lady?) person still lying in the road when we went passed.

IanJ Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 I got an sms from Zoo Cookie yesterday afternoon, she has cuts on both hands and worst on shoulder. Her right hand is also swollen. Luckily nothing is broken.
