Ja ek onthou...mens moes by poskantoor 'n liksens gaan koop (dink dit was iets soos 5c)...dan het jy so 'n blikplaatjie gekry met 'n nommer op. My een broer het altyd getraai om vroeg in die ry te kom sodat hy nommer 1 kon kry. En die cops het jou gecheck....as ek reg onthou is ek eenkeer gewaarsku omdat my liksens so gebuig was dat g'n mens hom meer kon lees nie. En verder...Popeye kom op 'n vroee stadium reeds in aanmerking vir die "stirrer" van die jaar...

shaunh Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 There is actually a diesel shortage in some parts of Gauteng. The only ones that seem to have is Sasol, which IMHO is the best diesel available.
slowpoke Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 d-r, there's a petrol station up the road to MichH with a BIG sign saying "GAS AVAILABLE".... you decide how badly you want it whetehr you're gonna drive all that way to get it! personally i don't believe this system will work - yep, in the old days (and i remember them too) we had those little discs.... we also had an efficient police force and legal system and if a car did hit a cyclist the driver was takent o court and had to prove they werent negligent (i had a school friend who got taken out and justice was served appropriately). until i get my rights as a road user guaranteed i will not contribute to the "powers that be" who are supposed to enforce said rules.
