JarradVZ Posted January 17, 2010 Share I witnessed this with my own eyes yesterday: It was on the Spruit, Paulshof side. I was approaching a group of 3 riders from behind who were minding their own business. Suddenly and without warning, the lead rider was savagely attacked!The angry Guinea Fowl came out of nowhere and went straight for the jugular. We as humans have no natural defence against a Guinea Fowl attack except to flail our arms about wildly. Thankfully the demented fowl desisted and went back to leading her chicks along the single-track.No serious injuries (besides a severely battered ego) but it could have been so much worse.
