koukie Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 They bottles and cages are magnetic. The "cage" has a magnet on it, and the bottle has a "slot" with a magnet. It works extremely well (havent dropped a bottle yet), and looks super cool!! Keeps the lines nice and clean.magnets?? first time I hear about that? where did you get it from? Brand?

patches Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 (edited) How did you lost one? I cracked it. Me and Peach have been building a 9m gap jump on a downhill. A few days ago I was testing out some distance markers to see if 9m was feasible. We hadn't built the landing yet so I was just jumping to the down. Completely bottomed out the bike, and the poor old girl couldn't take the strain on the headtube so cracked. She was 6yrs old (in DH bike years that's like 80) Here's a pic of the gap about an hour before the incident. That black pole on the left is at the 8m mark. That mark was reached on the 2nd run.
