Zula Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Temp fix My brake cable is too short to get routed along the downtube and under the BB and my LBS didn't have any XT brake cable in stock so I'm just running it cable-tied for now. Good bush mechanics in that case

You should just have used an XTR cable with a stock "buy per meter" SIS housing. It's the same as XT.

Weight Weenie Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Well got the new frame built up and christened it at the XCO provincial at Fountains last weekend. Was a lekker course, perfect for a hardtail. Bike rode well so I'm all smiles. This is with the training wheels (+/- 10,5kg), will post a pic with race wheels(+/- 9,2kg) some time. Johann Coetzee 1
