Has the enties closed already? I went to their website now and tried to enter the race but it asked for your ID number and then nothing happens.

Yeah closed last night.

Would it be recommended to ride tubeless?  I have been thinking about taking the financial plunge and maybe this is the excuse.  Currently I am riding with liners and slime tubes.

Not sure what the boys are on about with regards the 45km?

I did that with my ex 2 years ago, granted we werent racing but it a lingere model can comfortably get through it on a hard tail ....... its not that rough!

Cant wait for the 75km!

And yes tubless is the way to go!

I am in for the 45km, looking forward to it going to be challenging, will be riding my new steed thanks to the Omnico bike specials. A brand spanking new Mongoose Canaan team really going to be awesome to test it out on the ride

What if I am not a lingerie model... will I still manage?Wink

Hmmm you might chip a nail but other than that you'll be just fine.

If you're not a serious race snake and ride it for fun you'll have an awesome day out.

 Is it really that bad?

After Clarens nothing is really that bad anymore. I don't care if it is going to take me 5 hours, I am going to enjoy the 75km, not getting the HR over 140-150bpm.

Also we will be staying at Mountain Sanctuary for the race does anyone know if there are good spectator viewpoints in or nearby MS as the Wife and my son would love to watch a bit of the race.
