Now motorists can see me (I FLY) in the dark

I saw this reflective vest on a motorbiker last week. I stopped him and found out where he bought it from.

It has 16 red flashing leds front and back plus the reflective strips. We test rode them yesterday morning at 5am. I could see my buddy "flashing" from 300 metres and the motorists gave us a clear berth. Maybe they thought we were aliens!

If you want one, PM me (I FLY) and I will give you the contact details. The lights run off 2 penlight batteries and the total cost for each vest was R120.

I have been riding in a road workers vest that works but it flaps a lot in the wind and does not have flashing lights.

I want one of these! Please post the details.

You will have to ask I FLY, I'm posting on his behalf. You see, he is 'slightly' technically challenged and I had to retrieve the pic from an MMS, onto an email, saved and then posted (actually if I say it like that, it does sound chalenging!)

Michelle I use one of these as protective gear on the road for work after dark. You should see my village people impersonation with my yellow gumboots, my safety hat, my reflective jacket and my black SPEEDO...... permanent phsycological scarring guaranteed!!!!!!!!!!....... teee heeeeee

I FLY is out riding, he'll post details as soon as he's back (and yes he is suitably chastised for being out riding whilst the rest of us are at work!!)

please help ...? How does one PM somebody whose name doesnt appear in the thread? Do you have to search for a thread where it does? Or is there an easier way?

Ronelle, if you are logged in, you should see a 'My Hub" option in the top menu bar. This has a 'Member List' function which you can use to search for any Hubber by username and then PM from the profile page.
