_Daemon_ Posted August 28, 2007 Share Love these tyres!! Had only one puncture with them, I ride them at 9 bar...they go up to 11, grip handling etc. AWESEOME. Just bought new ones, but the superlight versions of them, no thread at all, full slick, will see how it goes.
Spinnekop Posted August 28, 2007 Share Got the Tubby version. MUCH better than what I have had! Rolling resistance better (Or it feels like it) and I haven't had one puncture yet. Poor MWNN was GATVOL at one point having to drag my sorry ass back to the bunch after several puntures with Conti's top of the range tyre.

Glad to hear you were also having problems with you's, I've gone thu about 4 of them now, and I refuse to ever pay that much for a tubby again, got myself a set of Conti Giro's for R160 per tubby, they actually training tubbies, but if I get less puntures I don't give a hoot if they weight 25g more

Christie Posted August 28, 2007 Share I raced a long time on a set of Tufo elite road tubbies - they were very nice. The rear got a massive cut from a pice of metal. None of the shops in Centurion had Tufos, so I go a Vittoria Corsa Evo as replacement. It is heavier and can take less pressure than the Tufo.
