Multisporter Posted June 11, 2012 Share I have eventually joined the world of Single Speed. I have rebuilt my old team Mongoose. It's the third time the bike has come back to life. It may not be an original SS, but it works quite well. Hairy Posted June 11, 2012 Share I have eventually joined the world of Single Speed. I have rebuilt my old team Mongoose. It's the third time the bike has come back to life. It may not be an original SS, but it works quite well. I've just finished a 3 day ride on the Wild Coast with it and loved the bike. Now to get my entry in for World champs A big thumbs up for first building up the bike, then doing a 3 day ride with her before just jumping and getting an entry in the SSWC 2012 .... there seems to be a bit of a trend (And I could be completely wrong with this assessment) that there are many riders entering the SSWC 2012 and then building up SS rides for that event only and not for the simple cause of just riding a SS.
