Jaco Steyn Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 I did the President Hyper race in Fochville on Saturday and did the 40km race in a horrendous time of 1:19. To my defence, this was my first race after my knee operation and I did not put in a lot of effort, and just did the race to see how my knee holds out. I am glad to say that my knee held out very well, and I think that I am now back in the saddle. Well, back to the race. Those guys of the President hyper did an amazing job of organising a great race and a few of the larger races should take a few notes! Jeremy Maartens won the 100km race. Here is a picture of my wife and my goodie bags packed out on our kitchen table. Each goodie bag had a total of 50 items in it! Ok Joke Was it a goodies bag for him & her?? did the her get one of those funny ladies stand and wee things??? I have a whole draw of them if anyone wants them, still have not figured out how they actually work
