You get it at http://www.zonefives...om/sporttracks/

I open and import the .fit file on the Edge 800, which shows as a portable drive (two drives; one for internal memory, on for SD card) activities to be found under <Drive letter>:\Garmin\Activities

Have you purchased version 3 Agteros or are you using the trial version?

Tested the trial version but stuck with 2.1 because I have a crap load of equipment and I remember that a lot of the plug-ins I had for free on 2.1 you now have to pay for in 3? Only thing I have to do, is convert the .fit file to .gpx or .tcx in Training Center because version 2.1 is not .fit compatible. Which I dont mind doing.

I still have sportstracks on my desctop PC from a while back but when I wanted to upload it onto my laptop recently I saw one could only get the trial version Free. I guess the 35 USD for the full version is really nothing for the flexability it offers compared to Training centre. Its been unchanged for the 3 years I have been on garmin products, maybe about time for a BIG upgreade Garmin?

If any of you upgraded to the New Full version, can you tell me If they still have all the Plugins avalable? and are they for free? or do you pay one by one?

@Bos

I still have the free version 2.1 with all of the plug-ins, let me know what you want!

Tankman thing is Im not sure the older version works with the new "ant" connect thing which my garmin uses.

I loved my sportstracks but ya, seems I cant get my 310xt to work on it

Sexy Suunto - love mine! And have had great support with the one 'how do I?' query I've had so far. The new distributors are apparently working hard to pick up on any service issues that the previous one dropped. Love that I can change my own battery - unlike my annoying Polar HRM ... I use Training Effect and also log my rides and performance on Movescount.

I use the Polar RS800Cx

Its brilliant, once you learn how to use it.

The only problem i have with it is my one button started sticking after one really muddy ride.

I could have it fixed but im too lazy to take it in and with all the valuable information it provides i can't Run/Ride without it.

Polar support is also very good.

They are friendly, quick and do not hesitate to replace/repair any problematic gear.

Do not know the Garmin at all. But after using the 725x (625x) for 5 years I did not want to move to something unfamiliar especially if the current system worked perfectly for me.

I use it for running as well and opted for the stride senor (NOT FOOTPOD) as well and it is freaky how accurate it is while giving stride length and cadence as well.

The only problem that someone may have is if they are not very technical......the amount of options, settings, excercise planning etc is mind blowing. If she isnt a technical person it would be better if you get the 800 and give the old one to wifey!

Another big plus is that you do not need to send the watch in for a swop anymore. Opens with a R 5-00 coin, battery costs R 5-00 and last very long.

With the 800 you can buy a gps unit for about R 1300-00. obviously works for the bike and running. BUt I heard it chows batteries like a pack of hungry wolves. Should be TO much of a problem if you do not mind using rechargeables.

Bike - speedsensor

Old Polars - Foot pod. Biggish but light and fairly accurate. Gives you speed and distance.

New polars - Stride sensor - small silwer disc thing. Very accurate and gives you speed, cadence and stride length.

I havent worn my stride sensor on the bicycle, but it should also give some interesting results.
