Zoo Cookie Posted November 1, 2007 Share i am sorry to hear.unfortunatly, alendale is renowned for all sorts of accidents. i found myself in that aera one afternoon going home. there was an accident on the N1 and i thought i would try it as an alternative. NEVER AGAIN!!! i drive in peak taffic every day,but that day i got home shaking, ready to burst into tears. the way the taxis drive in that part of midrand is horrific. i would strongly advise anyone not to ride on a bike in that part of midrand. Irrespective of whether it was motorcycle or bicycle I think people on this board jump to conclusions. Sure it was the emergency lane, but how do you know it wasn't an emergency that caused the accident? Will anyone then question why he was cycling in the emergency lane.
