As Far as i Know You have to pay and i feel exactly the same if i pay i want clear signage and a nice route not neccesarily easy or too tech just well maintained and clearly marked i must be Honest im considering going to moddies this weekend insead any thoughts

My mate thought the same, aint gonna compare to good ol VG Im afraid !!

Are you still having to pay to ride there? If so, then there should be an obligation to maintain the signage and trails surely?

And there hasn't been big mtb events there this year, what's up? I might add that bridges there are a tad dodge engineering-wise imho.

Will post my maps later

They had many races there this year and SA Champs. Stop complaining about not being spoon-fed with sign-posts and go and ride the trails and learn the routes by yourself, its not rocket science

Ja, go rogue ride / trespass accidentally because signposts in bikeparks are for losers.

Yes the other big mass participation events for fun riders like me.

I couldn't even say who the SA MTB champ is ...

Ashburton Series then? Big enough? Wait, maybe we can have the 94.7 there next year.

I don't have a problem finding my way around, but others do, as they have said, and if VG are accepting money for riding the trails then they have duties to maintain, its simple.

True ..sorry, I missed that one, I was away,  Did it last year, and the previous editions which used to be in later in the year.

You have Erik's Number on that map, he was out on Sunday morning, cleaning the trails.

Many of the signs are arrows on stones, easy to overlook ... but hard to steal!

I would love some gpx files if they available

If I remember correctly.. you can drag files to your device from Garmin connect.

Here're some rides of mine... (it's a schelp, but if you trawl through all the pages of this thread you might find more that I've posted) I haven't used my Garmin in ages.

Yeh dude i rode Saturday, Place is my new kingdom haha... Its so so amazing and not too hard to follow. I proceeded in doing an epic 60km loop, first up greek church and the whole river side then back down river to start, some district roads  then looped pofadder, daggapad, Oom Piet, did it all and absolutely loved it.. When you heading out again?  lets hit it!!
