  1. I'm quickly starting to realise why non cyclist think some cyclists are tools.. Clearly some people are more comfortable with False advertising and being mislead than others. Also, what about the R140 extra paid for shipping but they combining shipments? That must also be me "Misunderstanding" ?
  2. Yes I paid the price displayed. I only realized that it did not apply the initial 50% off after the fact. When I saw the banner about a discount I did not pull out a calculator and validate everything before clicking next? There was no "Up to 50%" or "some items 50%" so according to their marketing and on screen advert everything on that Vuelta tab should be 50% off. In fact the email I received stated ALL items 50% off or more!! (See the snippet) I expect honesty from the the stores/suppliers that provide you a products/service. I provide constructive feedback in order for them to improve and succeed in their endeavor because I like their products. When things go pear shaped, the right thing to do is try to resolve. IF it does not work notify others so they can be forewarned. From what I gather it was place under the Vuelta 50% off Sale "Category" purposefully to attract customers to it. There was no "Sorry is was categorized incorrectly" or "Sorry for any inconvenience caused" it was straight to we cant discount it further. They could have discounted to what they wanted to and left it in their Catalogue under Bottoms. like they did with the tops that were not on sale. They chose to add it in the 50% Sale tab.. From what I gather purposefully to attract customers to it so it could get sold.
  3. Aah, you're a bit delayed.. Ended Sunday/Monday I think. I gave ample time for them to respond, Even if it was not in my favor it would be a response. Yes, the price charged was the price advertised. But it was not the expectation put out by their marketing.
  4. Hi eddy, every other store that I had an issue with has always been happy to discuss and resolve the issue amicably. these guys are blatantly ignoring the question I asked and also refer to T&C’s that don’t exist. sorry to hear that you’ve had worse experiences. would you like to talk about it? My rant both helped me feel better and may forewarn others.
  5. I recently purchased items from the South African Castelli online store. The banner on the website and the email communication mentions Vuelta Sale 50% off MSRP MSRP on that Bib I bought is R2999, so the first discount should be 50% = R1500.00 not R1795.00 At which point R1500 - 25% would equate to R1125.00 not R1346 as per the invoice. There is a difference of R220 from my calculation. I contacted the store and was advised that they cannot do anything other than either cancel the order or remove the 1 item from my order. I literally asked the store if this "Is this legal?" as it was clearly advertised 50% off Vuelta Sale (NOT "UP TO 50%"), the owner responded by saying yes it is according to their terms and conditions. Furthermore they mention that the Bib was reduced and they cannot reduce it to any more than that. (Not to 50% like the other product) 1. Is it really legal? I tried to check but it is not clear. (At best this would be intentional misdirection) 2. I checked their website again, they do not have terms and conditions on their website nor have they sent it to me. Additionally, I purchased from Sportful as well, and to my surprise (Both orders Castelli and Sportful) shipped all together in one bag. This happened once before when I ordered 2 orders from Sportful, both orders shipped in 1 bag. I paid shipping for 2 orders, so if you're saying it's for my convenience then give me a voucher for the R70. I did pay for it. But clearly they're too happy to pocket the extra shipping monies paid. Anyone else experience this? They are no longer responding to my emails.
  6. I’ve ordered quite a few times. just don’t buy clothing. Customs is a biii@@tch. ????
  7. https://www.takealot.com/siemens-eq-6-plus-s500-fully-automatic-coffee-machine/PLID48293829 Anyone have experience with this model or brand?
  8. Same until i bought her a bike. Bike for the Mrs plus Stay in domestic = win win
  9. Just question.. would premium subs have the ability to comment on ads? Then the Advertiser or other Premium subs would be able to comment/reply. Would be nice.. I'd get Premium for this.. Would benefit me as a seller and a buyer..
  10. I've got a few of those..
  11. Yes, i am in contact with the guy. Have sent admin the voice notes and screenshots. I don't BS. Clearly he's in it for a quick buck and does not care about the "community" nor his reputation." Mistakes can be made, but your character dictates how you manage a predicament. I bought another unit because i got another deal and was looking to close the deal with "Ryan" amicably. I didn't force him to refund, i actually suggested that he sell and refund me once the sale has concluded and even tried to sell it with/for him.
  12. So it's ok for him to lie to me and say he sold it for R1300? so he could refund me less? I know for a fact that he could get R1800 for it. but he decided to ghost the buyer when the buyer was on his way to meet. so why would he sell it for R1300? I disclosed to the buyer that i did not have it in my possession and supplied the buyer with "Ryans" number. this is how we knew "Ryan" was the same person. I advertised it because he did not relist, I waited a few days before i put up the ad myself.
  13. I purchased a Garmin for the agreed price of R1500 from a hubber (lets call him Ryan) and paid a R500 deposit and cash balance on collection. We could not meet due to lockdown and agreed to meet at a later stage. When I was able to go collect he was then “out of town” and there was nobody that could meet me. I waited till the day he said he'll be back and requested a time to meet, but alas his trip got extended another day. I then purchased another Garmin and requested a refund. He then said his wife is home and I could collect from her the following day. But I told him that it’s not necessary for me any longer and he could sell it to the many people that he turned down because I paid a deposit. So I suggested he sell it and refund me R450, R50 as an admin fee. He gave some blabber about he’ll only sell it for the price he accepted from me and it’s not his job to resell it. This is where it gets interesting. I advertise it and get a buyer. He then tell me he sold it for R1300 and will only transfer the R300. But the buyer I had was someone that he agreed to sell the same Garmin to for R1800. That sale did not materialize because he ghosted the buyer and then the buyer contacted me as my ad was still up. So Ryan wants to make R200 off my deposit plus the R500 more than what he agreed to sell to me for. I requested that he refund me R450 or i'll bring the R1000 cash and expect the Garmin. No he is getting defensive and not responding. I have tried to reason and have attached my WhatsApp chat history with him to the email to Support/Admin. He has ads in the sale section currently, and has no ratings currently. What should i do? Take it on the chin or name and shame him. He has a business with his namesake.
  14. I'm currently having an altercation with a hubber i purchased something from. He still has 3 items available for sale. He shafted me and ghosted a newbie hubber. A bad rating alone wont help with this, If i could then i would post a comment on each of his existing listing. I have sent Hub support/admin a mail about my position this morning and await response.
  15. Anyone experience issues with active day not reflecting. both on zwift and on the road.
  16. I wonder if Solomon’s cycles will be at the CTCT 2021 expo.
  17. Seems there is a toss up somewhere.. Didn't get my active day for yesterday.. And today i cannot relink Strava or Garmin
  18. I went for mine in Sep/Oct 2019.. I was required to do multiple exercises but No "skin fold". Clearly the Biokinetics people are doing what the want wrt tests.
  19. Take a car each to Tygerwheel for the R99 momentum multiply assessment. you can buy a voucher and get 25% off on the multiply online store. Unfortunately the cheapest voucher is R500 bust lasts for 3 years..
  20. Apologies, i said 3 previously but meant 4 active days per week. Average of 16 per month.. that's 4 active days per week..
  21. Rather just cycle or swipe at the gym 3 times a week, will get the same amount of points without paying the Biokenetics consultation per person.
  22. I found that it was more HR and flexibility.. Edit: If you can do the steps, push ups, crunches with ease and keep a constant healthy HR you get a 4.. That said, i got a 3.. But i was 110kg at the time.
  23. You can contact them an put it on hold, then you'll get charged pro rata. I've done this in the past. Not sure if it's still a viable option
  24. Can only carry over for 14 days.
