  1. Also have a look at these. https://solomonscycles.co.za/products/mavic-crossmax-29er-wheelset/
  2. You can also use zwiftalizer.com to analyse your ride and any connectivity issues. Go to the site, import the log file from your ride, and you will get a breakdown on network errors, connection attempts etc.
  3. Yes I have a 4 piece fly rod that I take along. Reel, rod and flies goes into a case that can carry over my shoulder. Never used a telescopic rod, but if its light and flexible it should be good fun.
  4. Combining two hobbies. Cycling and finding that perfect spot for hunting yellowfish on fly. Close to Machadodorp in Mpumalanga.

  6. Everything on that website is also available from aliexpress.com I won't touch it.
  7. Just travel a bit further past Northgate until you see Nicholas Plants on your right. In there is Cyclists Workshop. Been my LBS for the last 2 years and never had an issue. They also have lots of used bikes for sale. Ask for Josh.
  8. I replaced my Cosmic Elites with Vision Trimax 35's. They ride like a dream and many people mistake them for carbon wheels because of the dark brake surface. The brake surface has a PEO hard coating that makes it wear resistant. After a few rides the brake surface on my wheels still look like new. Note that these are not noisy wheels, but they still sound good and roll forever.
  9. I bought a pair of Leatt Shoes and Giant pedals from Olympic Cycles a couple of months ago. Really happy being back on flats and the shoes are great. https://www.olympiccycles.co.za/shop/leatt-dbx-2-0-flat-sneaker/
  10. Did anyone notice that Cycle Lab vouchers are back in the online shop?
  11. Tomorrow will be eleven years for me. The attached book " Never take another puff " was a game changer for me. I gave up smoking cold turkey and never smoked again. I hope this book can also help someone else.NTAP_large_print_212_pages.pdf
  12. Helmets, baggies, gloves etc. https://www.foxracing.co.za/special-price/?special-price=1
  13. I don't think so. I actually had to go one size bigger when I bought mine.
  14. https://www.onedayonly.co.za/asterope-winter-bib-tights-9.html Very good price for these. Used them this last winter and even at -1 I didn't feel the cold. Also some specials on short bibs.
  15. Hi Christian Thanks for your input. I am now the very happy owner of a Kickr 3. But then I have to confess I also have the Wahoo Elemnt, Tickr HR monitor and the Wahoo speed and cadence sensor. So I wasn’t going anywhere else for a IDT. I run the beta version of Zwift on Android and everything connects seamlessly.
  16. Just as I have done all my research and decided on buying a KICKR 3 2017, they go and launch a KICKR 4 2018. Now do I wait for the new one to arrive in SA or just buy the KICKR 3? From what I can see these are the changes. Ergonomic Grip Carrying Handle Placement Change (Moved to accommodate bikes with disc brakes)Quieter unit (Wahoo redesigned the belt system to be much more quiet than any predecessor)Additional thru axle compatibility (12×142 and 12×148 thru axle)Addition of a heavier flywheel (16 lbs vs 12.5 lbs from the previous version)Compatible with the KICKR Headwind
