    I actually found that the Go Wax lube from Bearing Man Lasted a bit longer than Squirt and was a bit creamier to the feel. I'm back on Squirt from Cycle Lab and have stopped playing around anyway.

    Found it in one of the Safety data Sheets, Slack wax has more Lube in it. You can Feel that Squirt is "Softer" than Paraffin wax. Made in Knysna. The Bearing man Stuff is also made in Knysna and the bottles are same Shape Different Colour. (Some Useless Info) Google Go Wax Lube Safety Data Sheet. I buy it from Cycle Lab.

    Squirt or Smoove and Lube Every Ride 1 Drop per Link Method. Never Degrease Just Wipe with Cloth. Every Ride means 30 Km or More. Squirt Runs Cleaner Than Smoove but Both are Slack Wax Water Emulsions.

    2.35 is the most common but check if your Frame can handle it. Some older frames need 2.25 at the back.

    Actually disk brakes is the best thing that happened to the Bicycle. Because Cycling is a Snob and Fashion Sport it might be difficult to sell it afterwards.

    How Much Liquid Paraffin are you putting in the wax ? Leave it to cool until it just starts to go milky.

    So Many Choices, Too Many I Never got more than 1000 Km out of a Continental (4 Tyres Purchased) Managed 6000Km from an Ikon in the Back. It was still working perfectly when i turfed It. Sometimes Old Tech is Better than New Tech (Trident Tested) My New Ikon on the back. It's Noiseless, Very Very Smooth and Grippy on the Trails.

    For the Road bike I would Take Carbon Rims and Everything Else. For the MTB I would Stick with Alloy. I destroyed a Carbon Handlebar on About it's Fifth Ride. (Due to Accident)
