  2. Morning guys, I am still looking for an old BMX frame and a back wheel for it. I have an 26 Mtb frame to swop.

  5. Jy draai 'n moer op 'n bout en jy moer 'n boud met die plathand vir disiplinere doeleindes
  6. Congratulations with your podium finish
  7. Thank you WM17. As far as I know there is a lot of hills towards Potgietersrus and looking at the map, it looks like we will be going that way. Anyways, we will be on the tandem and we will just take it as it comes.
  8. Looks like i am the only one that will ride this one
  9. Anybody that has done this before, how is the route? Is it fast or does it have a lot of hills?
  10. Cheese, search for an App called GPX Viewer. i used it with the previous race, it works fine
  11. Are you using Bloekom boom hout there for the fire (Eucalyptus tree wood)
  12. Thank you Eddy, appreciate!
  13. No profile?
  14. Does anybody have a route profile for the 95 km?
  15. This is what I was trying to get across. If a person has served his ban and a cycling body (like CSA) grants this person a cycling license, this person cannot be refused to enter into CSA or UCI sanctioned races.
  16. Well, I don't know, I'm no legal eagle. I just think if this get's tested in a court, the "banned" cyclist might just have a case. If you ban someone to enter a race, on what grounds do you do it. The person has served his time, he is no longer a doper so how can you treat him as a doper still. I know, it is human, we don't like cheaters and we don't want anything to do with them afterwards, but legally, if you served your time and you don't cheat (dope) anymore, why should you still be punished?
  17. If somebody gets caught for doping and he/she is banned for a period of time (punishment) and that person serves his time, it means after that punishment it should be over. By banning that person from participating in certain events, it means he/she are being punished twice or more times for the same offence. I wonder what will happen if some cyclist takes a race organizer that want to exclude him/her from participating in their race, to court. Because surely their freedom of movement/choice are being jeapordised? (spelling) Don't get me wrong, I am not pro doping, it is just that people have rights and after serving time for doping a person should be free to practice that right
  18. That tyre is faaarked
  19. Just checked, i paid R940 last year for a tandem entry, so this year it is R160 more expensive. You mention Argus. I don't think you can compare Argus and Kremetart. Argus has full road closure and Kremetart does not. I know that prices will go as long as people are willing to pay, but there will come a day that people will ask whether the price is worth what you get and that day has come for me. My entry less will not make a difference, but I am sure that there are other people that feels the same as I do.
  20. If memory serves me correct, I think we paid less than R1100 for a tandem entry last year, as there was discount for tandems. Yes I understand that you cater for cyclists along the way with meals. I don't use these meals as I am Gluten and Dairy intolerant, I usually take my own food with.
  21. Thank you for a well organized event Eveza
  22. Still on. The entry fee is getting out of hand, R550 per person, means it will cost me R1100 or the tandem entry.
  23. Starting time at 08h00. It is going to be a hot day on the bike
  24. Also Camping there for the week end. Will be on the Tandem. Maybe we could have a cold one after the event
