  1. 4 June or 4 May?
  2. Can someone provide me with more info regarding the money app and VISA card? Do I understand correctly that the monies earned for HealthSaver and Rewards will be transferred meaning I now have access to those monies?
  3. Thanks Jackes, Last month was my first month on Momentum - still trying to figure out how I am going to maximise the points.
  4. Quick question, in order for me to get the health saving based on my active days, do I need to first do the clicks/dischme thingy? Last month my wife and I achieve the goals, but we still dont see any "monies" for health saver?
  5. This was a fantastic day out. Goodie bag - replace the sun screen sachets, it is winter. The rest was great (Cup, Lube, Bum cream) Route and marshalls - Route was marked well and there were sufficient marshalls. The lead out police car was HORRIFIC - we ended up sprinting like maniacs to the start of the gravel. This should be a non racing zone. Eventually the entire bunch was split up in the dark and cars were passing us with oncoming traffic. The BEST rooster koek with bacon, egg and cheese I have had (and the droewors and barones rounded it off). Perhaps provide a route profile stick in the bag - we printed our own for the bikes and it does help. We could then compare what was lying ahead vs what the bike computers had already recorded at that point in time (Could easily see the route would be in excess of 2300m vs the 1900 said at the start) - this is important as some people program themselves for only what is communicated. Other than that, great race. I am sure I'll be back.
  6. Great, thanks varkie2
  7. Is one able to purchase a day license in advance? I would like to purchase a ticket for a friend, but we are doing a route beforehand and entering from a location on Bottelary close to the Engen side (On Stellenbosch crossing). Can I purchase tonight for tomorrow is the question?
  8. Is there an email address or contact number where I can lodge a complaint in respect of the customs? This is the second shipment I have brought in relating to cyling nutrition and EVERYTIME I have had problems. The first time only half my product arrived (gels) and now, with my second package, they did not close the nutrition bottle's lid properly and half the product/powder was in the box. What is the use if I bring in stuff if I suffer a loss every time. As well, I have an item classified under the wrong tariff code, obviously the f&@ktard sitting at customs cannot read on the box when it says pressure gauge and classifies it as a foot pump...
  9. Does anyone know what the customs perctage would be to bring in an indoor trainer? looking at the Tacx Bushido Smart Trainer.
  10. Any one know which tax duty codes I can refer to for cycle related goods (i.e. Nutrition, Groupsets and parts)? I have seen earlier posts regarding certain rates, have they been amended or still the same?
  11. I have been making this bar for a number of years...I could even share my orange flavoured special recipe
  12. The date is the 12th, as per the website.
  13. What I found strange was that the Sportmanswarehouse stall at the Cycle Tour Expo sold them for cheaper that Falke themselves, who were also at the Cycle Tour Expo...
  14. Some good information. What can be said in respect of the food you may or may not eat the previous day/evening?
  15. The price is simply too much for an event which offers a distance of 18km... #craycray
  16. There are a number of people here that support Dave and hate Dave. Yes he did wrong and to me, it doesn't matter what you chose to do, if its illegal, you need to bear the brunt of your actions. That being said, I am not sure that one drug is worse than the other...how many of us have broken the traffic laws?? Not once, I don't believe you... The law is the law, not matter how small or big. If you break it, even just slightly, you have contravened! He has served his time and I certainly hope he makes a good come back, without a sponsor and can show that he can still make a success and take some needed prize money.
  17. Is the inside leg from the bottom of the ummm..."tjommals" straight down to the ground or don the side of the leg to the ground?
  18. Ride harder with the mtb - there are plenty of guys in the starting groups with mtbs that finish with the front guys on road bikes.
  19. Entered...60km of nice riding coming up! Hopefully the weather holds then, otherwise there might be some nice mud
  20. Also looking for the results...and my buff
  21. I think a single, centralized and reasonable annual should be applicable if at all possible. There are too many separate annual fees payable in a radius of 50km from Durbanville. I very seldom ride any of these routes and I live in Durbanville. Open district roads together with some tar allows for endurance riding, otherwise Majik does the trick for some single track. Alternatively, I pay to ride the odd race to see some other tracks. I agree with all - trespassing is not correct and I don't encourage it. If I could pay a more reasonable annual license fee (consolidated that is), it would encourage me to pay it every year, meaning I am becoming a frequented member (or payee) therefore contributing to a more stable source of revenue to maintain our tracks. One should not see or target weekend warriors who can simply not afford the time to ride in the week (making multiple annual fees unattractive) as part of a major fee generating population.
  22. I ride with First accent - costs me R800. Don't need to ride with Italian or Assos as they definitely not that much more comfortable. I am an endurance rider and it probably takes me 5 to 8 long rides to get accustomed to a new bib.
  23. I had one of their bibs - felt like part of my body it was so comfortable. Just a pity its so epensive. Highly recommend them.
